This is an item type in addition to Assets and can come in handy when checking out commodity items in bulk, such as 200 flashlights at a go.
It's ideal for items where only total stock quantity is required because individual tracking is considered inefficient or unnecessary. For example, you've checked out 25 chairs to customer and don't care which specific chairs they are. Only the number matters.
